Sea Freight
Sea freight is our most popular service, offering an affordable and reliable way to send goods from the UK to Ghana. We collect your items from your home or business, consolidate them into one of our shipping containers, and manage the entire journey through to delivery in Ghana.
Unlike many freight companies, our containers depart regularly—approximately every five days—meaning you won't have to wait for a single monthly sailing. Typical transit time is 4–6 weeks.
For business customers, we can collect directly from suppliers, warehouses or commercial premises before preparing your shipment for export.
We also offer a range of specialist sea freight services, including:
Full container loads (FCL) for customers shipping larger volumes of goods.
Roll-on/Roll-off (RoRo) vehicle shipping for cars and other vehicles.
Port-to-port container shipping for commercial customers who arrange collection in Ghana themselves.
Air Freight
When speed is your priority, our air freight service provides one of the fastest ways to send goods to Ghana. Shipments typically arrive within around 7 days, with door-to-door delivery available in many locations.
We'll handle the shipping process and the necessary paperwork, making the experience as straightforward as possible.
Before booking air freight:
Minimum shipment weight: 10kg (shipments under 10kg are charged as 10kg).
Air freight is charged at £13 per kilogram.
Larger items may be charged using volumetric weight instead of actual weight — worked out as Length × Width × Height (in cm), divided by 6000 — whichever is greater.
Liquids and batteries cannot be shipped by air.
Laptops and mobile phones are priced separately due to insurance requirements.

Need packaging before you're ready to ship?
We can supply boxes and barrels before your collection date, giving you time to pack everything securely. Once you've finished, simply let us know and we'll arrange collection.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I pay?
Payment is usually required on the day of collection. We accept cash, bank transfer, and card payments, with our card machine supporting all major debit and credit cards except American Express.
Do I need to pack my own items?
Yes. All items should be securely packed and ready for collection before our driver arrives. If you need packaging materials, we can supply shipping boxes and barrels in advance to help you prepare your shipment.
Do you collect from my address?
Yes. We offer free collections throughout London and the M25. If you're located outside this area, simply get in touch with us and we'll let you know whether collection is available and provide a quotation if applicable.
How do I change or amend my recipient details?
If you need to change your recipient's details after booking, please call or message us using the original sender's phone number as soon as possible. We'll do our best to update the information before your shipment is dispatched.
How long does shipping to Ghana take?
Delivery times depend on the shipping method you choose. Our sea freight service typically takes 4–6 weeks, while air freight usually arrives within 7 days. Delivery times are estimates and can occasionally vary due to customs or transport delays.
How do I make a complaint?
We always aim to provide the highest level of service. If you're unhappy with any aspect of your experience, please contact us using the Contact Us page with details of your complaint. A member of our team will review your case and get back to you as soon as possible.
Are there any restricted items?
Yes. Some items cannot be shipped, while others may have specific packaging or documentation requirements. Please visit our Restricted Items page for the latest guidance on both air and sea freight. If you're unsure about a particular item, feel free to contact us before booking.
Will my items be opened or inspected?
Your items are packed securely and remain sealed during transit wherever possible. However, customs authorities in both the UK and Ghana reserve the right to inspect shipments at any time. These inspections are carried out at the discretion of customs and are outside of our control.
How is shipping priced?
Our pricing depends on the shipping method you choose. Air freight is charged based on either the weight or the volume of your shipment (whichever is greater), while sea freight is priced per item. If you'd like an accurate quotation, simply contact us with the details of your shipment or take a look at our price list.
What can I ship?
We can transport a wide range of personal, household and commercial goods, including furniture, appliances, clothing and general cargo. Certain items, such as liquids, must be packed separately, and some restricted or prohibited goods cannot be shipped. If you're unsure about an item, just contact us and we'll be happy to advise.
What should I write on my boxes or shipping items?
Please clearly write only the recipient's name and delivery location (for example, Accra, Tema, or Kumasi) on each item. There's no need to include phone numbers or other contact details, as these are recorded on your receipt. Our driver will label each item with its unique receipt number during collection, allowing it to be tracked throughout the shipping process.
Are there any areas in Ghana you do not deliver door to door?
Yes. While we provide door-to-door delivery across most of Ghana, there are some locations where direct delivery isn't currently available, including Tamale, Bolgatanga, Ho, and Tarkwa.
If your destination falls within one of these areas, your shipment will instead be delivered to the nearest TNT transport station, where it can be collected or forwarded to its final destination.
If you know your shipment is going to one of these locations, please let our team know when we collect your items. This allows us to arrange the correct delivery method and advise you of any additional transport charges before your shipment is dispatched.
